More and more women are in management positions, and more and more women are doing their businesses and being successful. However, many of them feel like the Goddess Durga, wife of Shiva, who gets a wide range of arms to chase away evil spirits. The modern Durgas, have no weapons but rather tools to be able to face the challenges of everyday life and thus build a rich, full and balanced personal, family and professional life. Being able to harmonize these three pillars is not always easy. The goal of our organization is to bring together brilliant and caring women who want to grow professionally and personally.

WHO ARE WE?

In 2018, Maria (Executive MBA and business leader, ex European Commission, ex Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and Linda (Phd, ex Nestlé) meet each other and immediately realize that they share a lot of common interests. In a very natural way, Women Leaders is formed with profiles that have been carefully selected beforehand using the Leadem method. The main objective is to bring together fantastic women and to learn from each of them. The added value is very clear from the beginning: groups of women executives with different but compatible interests and personalities who freely share “best practices” and exchange their own experiences and knowledge in a caring and sincere way.

All in a transparent way on the monthly theme of the meeting. Success comes quickly and Leadem is consolidating its position by creating a branch in Paris in 2019 and becoming Women Leaders (by Leadem) already present in several countries.

And women leaders, how does it work?

Thanks to the LEADEM method, we recruit exceptional profiles and organise a monthly aperitif-dinner in the form of a transparent, open and friendly exchange between all the participants : Conference dedicated to a precise economic, sectorial, geopolitical theme with high added value for the target group.

We also organize Meetings between cells from different countries and a Global Meeting of all Leadems all over the world in which all members meet and exchange on the topics defined in the Agenda, always and exclusively from a professional point of view. All meetings and gatherings are placed under the confidentiality rule known as ‘Chatham House’.

Ethics

All Leadems have adhered to and signed our Code of Ethics and our Charter. We share it and respect it. Ethics are very important to preserve the good atmosphere of Women Leaders and we are very keen on this successful relaxation area thanks to clear principles and the Leadem Method of recruitment.
